My main goals upon starting our one hour, two times a week, sessions were being able to gain more stamina and build upper body strength. I asked specifically for this because it had been a month of hard work, I can say that I am able to jog for almost two minutes without stopping and do fifteen knee push ups! My confidence in myself has risen and I am more determined than ever to continue this healthy journey. I thank Ms. King for her time and effort thus far. I cannot wait to continue to work with her for the months to come! I was in a bad situation before and was afraid that if something else were to happen (where I would need these skills) I would not be able to help myself. To put it into perspective I could not jog longer than a few seconds nor do a single knee or regular pushup. During the sessions I sometimes became discouraged because I could feel that my body was not at its best but Ms. King helped restore my faith in myself through her motivational way of speaking and completing the moves alongside me. She also asked me questions, modified workouts, emailed to check up on me, and always had a bright smile.
